INSPIRATION
↳ Mario Andretti

Mario Andretti is an Italian-born American racing icon, considered by many to be the greatest race car driver in the history of the sport. He is one of only two drivers to have won races in Formula One, IndyCar, World Sportscar Championship, and NASCAR and the only person to be named United States Driver of the Year in three different decades.

Andretti’s family spent seven years in an Italian refugee camp applying and waiting for U.S. visas. They left all their belongings behind and began their new life in America, where Mario (and twin brother Aldo) discovered a race track near their home in Pennsylvania and in 1959 began what would become a decades-spanning racing career.

From his first TQ Midget race victory 1962 to his “Arrivederci” tour and last LeMans race in 1995, whether racing with his brother, his sons or nephew, Andretti continued to innovate, break records and earn honors in the world of racing, driving with an unending and unequaled passion for the sport.

Circumstances may cause interruptions and delays, but never lose sight of your goal.

ACTION
↳ 3-Step Plan To Pursue Your Next Level

Visualize The Finish Line
Picture yourself with the trophy and champagne. What win are you celebrating? Knowing where you want to finish is key to staying on track. So make a board, write a purpose statement, talk it over with a friend or mentor– whatever method works best for you to create a concrete vision of your ultimate goal.

Check Those Caution Flags
What’s got you idling? Commit to finding solutions to external roadblocks like time (free up pockets you can use by paring down commitments), money (search up grants, startup competitions, angels you can access) , skills (find online courses and mentors). Push past internal speed bumps like concern about change, criticism and fear of failure to get yourself back on the fast track.

Pedal To The Metal
Finish Line set? Track Clear? Fuel up and don’t let anything stop your pursuit until you see the wave of that checkered flag on your purpose-driven path! Go for it!
