HesterMedia, LLC Inc. (“HesterMedia, LLC”) operates several websites including HesterMedia.com and StoutMagazine.com. It is HesterMedia, LLC’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Website Visitors
Like most website operators, HesterMedia, LLC collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. HesterMedia, LLC’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how HesterMedia, LLC’s visitors use its website. From time to time, HesterMedia, LLC may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Certain visitors to HesterMedia, LLC’s websites choose to interact with HesterMedia, LLC in ways that require HesterMedia, LLC to gather personally-identifying information. For instance, HesterMedia, LLC may monitor the most popular posts on the Stout magazine site or use spam screened by the Akismet service to help identify spam. HesterMedia, LLC may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, HesterMedia, LLC does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Information We Collect from Other Sources
With your authorization, we may also obtain information about you from other sources. For example, if you create or log into your StoutMagazine account through a social media service (like Google) or if you connect your website or account to a social media service, we will receive information from that service (such as your username, basic profile information, and friends list) via the authorization procedures used by that service. The information we receive depends on which services you authorize and any options that are available.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
HesterMedia, LLC discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on HesterMedia, LLC’s behalf or to provide services available at HesterMedia, LLC’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Comments and other content submitted to our Akismet anti-spam service are not saved on our servers unless they were marked as false positives or missed spam, in which case we store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives and missed spam.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, HesterMedia, LLC may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in HesterMedia, LLC’s sole discretion. HesterMedia, LLC encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy.
