ACTION
↳ 3-Step Plan To Put Yourself In The Game
❶ Own Your Leadership
Recognize YOU are the leader in your own life. As Abby says, “Leadership is the blood that runs through your veins- it’s born in you. It’s not the privilege of a few, it is the right and responsibility of all.” YOU are the driver of your life, so take the wheel, set the direction and get going. The world is waiting on YOU!
❷ Speak Up
As Abby says “Demand the Effing ball!” Demand to be heard at that meeting, demand the raise you’ve earned, or equal pay that is just. Be BOLD, stand up and use your voice!
❸ Share The Spotlight
Acknowledge those who help you get on the board. As Abby says “I’ve never score a goal in my life without getting a pass from someone else.” — and she is famous for giving proud and animated “points” to those who assist every step along the way…crowd included.

Abby Wambach’s New Rules To Get In The Game
“Champion each other.”
“Power and success and joy are not pies,” Wambach writes. “A bigger slice for one woman doesn’t mean a smaller slice for another.”
“Be grateful AND ambitious.”
Be grateful for what you have AND demand what you deserve. Take the ball, run with it and own the results.
“Make failure your fuel.”
Failure means you’re IN the game. Don’t drop out! Take it in stride, learn from it and come back stronger in your next play.
“Lead from the bench.”
Lead now — from wherever you are. Don’t wait for permission or position.
