Our thoughts are with those affected by the devastating damage caused by Hurricane Harvey and all those rushing to the destruction to help.

Stout Magazine is headquartered in Austin, Texas which has thankfully experienced only the edge of Harvey’s effects. We have shelters operating now and more opening. If you are local they are looking for volunteers, for those further away if you donate to the Red Cross via Amazon and they will match up to $1 million dollars for Harvey relief efforts.

Also, our Austin area no-kill shelter Austin Pets Alive has been working hard to rescue animals from the hurricane zone and can use volunteers and donations to help with the ongoing effort.
