INSPIRATION

Sir Isaac Newton was an English mathematician, physicist, astronomer, theologian, and author widely recognized as one of the most influential scientists of all time.

Newton was a key figure in the scientific revolution of the 17th century who created the modern telescope, helped develop spectral analysis, advanced a completely new specialized form of mathematics (what we now call calculus) and in his most famous published work Principa laid out the three laws of motion.

Though the famous story of the apple falling on Newton is likely a legend, he used that example to simplify the proof of his groundbreaking concept that if the force of gravity pulled the apple from the tree, then it was also possible for gravity to exert its pull on objects much, much further away.

No great discovery was ever made without a bold guess.
– Sir Isaac Newton
