INSPIRATION

T.S. Eliot, essayist, publisher, playwright, literary and social critic, won The Nobel Prize in Literature in 1948 for being “one of the most daring innovators of twentieth-century poetry”. He never compromised his belief that poetry should represent the complexity of modern civilization in language and despite initial difficulties with public opinion (and with language itself) his style became immensely influential on modern poetic diction.

“We shall not cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.”
– T.S. Eliot
